Composting is a simple yet powerful way to transform organic waste into nutrient-rich compost, and our Ridan composters make this process even easier and more efficient.
The compost produced by Ridan-FOLO machines is a valuable soil amendment. When added to gardens, farms, or landscaping projects, it enriches the soil with essential nutrients, enhances soil structure, and improves moisture retention. This, in turn, promotes healthier plant growth and reduces the need for chemical fertilizers.
Composting with Ridan-FOLO machines reduces the amount of waste sent to landfills, helping Malaysia tackle its waste management challenges. By composting on-site, households, businesses, and communities can save money on waste disposal fees and potentially generate cost savings in waste management.
Ridan-FOLO composters are designed to be user-friendly and suitable for various applications. Whether you are composting kitchen scraps, garden waste, or agricultural residues, our machines can handle a wide range of organic materials. They require minimal effort to operate, making composting accessible to all, from individual households to large-scale facilities.
Our Ridan-FOLO composters employ an aerobic composting process that uses natural microorganisms to decompose organic waste. The continuous rotation of the composting drum ensures efficient mixing and aeration, speeding up the decomposition process without requiring significant energy consumption.
Using Ridan-FOLO composters can foster a sense of community engagement and environmental responsibility. In schools, businesses, and community centers, composting initiatives can be educational opportunities to raise awareness about waste reduction and environmental sustainability.
Composting is a fundamental aspect of the circular economy, where waste is considered a resource. By composting organic materials and using the resulting compost to enrich soil, you actively participate in the circular economy and support a regenerative approach to waste management.
Being on a small off grid island, dealing with food waste is a problem. We tried various composting options over the years which were messy, smelly and our team dreaded.
The RIDAN has been an excellent solution for us as it does not smell, is contained, easy to use and doesn’t “break down”.
We put mixed food waste into the RIDAN with sawdust (which we get free from a mainland carpentry operation) and turn the handle a few times a day. We use the compost that comes out in our permaculture garden and for landscaping (great for our sandy soils).
The RIDAN works for us practically and fits with our ethos of adopting circular systems where we can. Food waste to soil to food.
